The following photo has been circulating in the internet as the mug shot of Mrs. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. The picture was published in the Philippine Daily Inquirer. It is believed to be the authentic mug shot taken while in hospital.

Texas scientist succesful in cloaking strands

A University of Texas Dallas scientist is working on developing a technology that would create an invisibility cloak. He uses carbon nanotubes which look like pieces of thread–and then heats them up rapidly until the objects beneath them effectively disappear.You can watch the threads disappear as they are heated up in the video above.
